“Songs of L.A. The Concert” is a new hybrid scripted concert musical about a group of musicians who go to L.A. hoping to make it big in the music business. They fall on hard times and end up homeless. They meet other struggling artists and decide to put on their own concert. After great struggles with Russian Gangsters they manage to put on their concert and they tell their stories through song. Their songs touch on universal themes of love and heartache, freedom and exclusion, forgiveness and redemption. It’s about finding the light in a dark place. In other words it is the story of our times told through song.
Artist producer Innis MacK is producing a new online concert to be live-streamed and is looking for talent from all backgrounds to reflect the diversity of the City of Los Angeles. Lots of parts and great original songs. The universal language is music. Let’s change the world and bring people together through song!

THE PLOT
IN THE CITY OF ANGELS THERE ARE MANY DREAMS AND MANY STORIES
The story is about a group of musicians who struggle against the music industry and local gangsters and band together and put on their own live concert. Each group and song has a story and touches on universal themes such as love and heartache, freedom and exclusion, forgiveness and redemption, the state of the planet, courage and hope. It’s about finding the light in a dark place. In other words it is the story of our times told through song.
